a photo response to
this shot in the words of this man*
I amI am Joe's dad.
I am most likely an American citizen. I am older than 33 years old. I am probably 6 feet tall. I ain't telling you my weight. I am a man. I am a husband. I am a father. I am a father that is proud of his son. i think my son is talented. I am a father that will readily show off his son's artwork. I am happy for him. I don't know where he gets the time to do all this stuff. I don't understand my son's depression. I wish him the best in his mental health. I want him to be happy. I am not wearing a shirt.
*what i mean is, they are my words, as if they were spoken by the man pictured. from the brief meeting with him, this is what i came away with and can imagine him saying.
the short story behind this shot is this. one day
regularjoe and i were chatting and we found out we both went the same high school, played soccer for the same coach, and even played the same position (goalkeeper). he ended up telling me where his childhood home was (near a strip club) and issued me a challenge. to get a picture of webster sitting on his dad's porch. here's one better. so joe, here's your dad and webster hanging out on your porch. enjoy.
oh, and once i asked him if he was joe's dad, he asked me if i was ron richardson. it was supposed to be a sneak attack, but i found out he had some inside information..... but that's ok... i got some shots of webster hanging out by his car :)
